Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC)

The Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC), created in statute in 1976, is a nine-member body, appointed by the Governor, to identify and catalog cultural resources (i.e., places of special religious or social significance to Native Americans, and known graves and cemeteries of Native Americans on private lands) in California.

This graph represents environmentally preferable purchases of goods and services that have been acquired through a noncompliant EPP purchasing method. Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC) had an opportunity to procure these same goods and services through an EPP compliant statewide commodity contract that will assist in increasing their goals.
